Global poverty is on the rise, as I have shared here. Between 2020 and 2023, 165 million people fell into poverty. The achievement of the ‘No Poverty’ aspiration is at risk, as highlighted here, here and here. The 2030 deadline may well be missed, and we may only hope to achieve a world without poverty …

Haynes wrote two masterfully crafted memoirs: “The Lloyd Haynes Story, A Remarkable Journey to Stardom,” reviewed by the Tribune as “Superbly Written,” and “Bewitched, Secrets from Comedy Genius Sol Saks,” noted by LA Times as “First-Class.” She’s a member of the Screen Actors Guild, American Federation of Television & Radio Artists, Author’s Guild, and a widespread writing and poetry community. In addition, she attended the American Film Institute, CBS Workshops, and the Pasadena Playhouse and received an invitation to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, England. For many years, Carolyn assisted Saks with books, plays, theater, television productions, and university classes on writing. As wife to Samuel Lloyd Haynes, she also helped with his screenplays, short stories, and photography. “We anticipate more adventures with this author of addictive, engaging books.”
